Vicky has a passion for leadership and learning. Throughout her 25+ years in leadership development Vicky has partnered with leaders at all levels in both Corporate and Non-Profit organizations to provide experiential training, facilitation and coaching.  Her experience includes key leadership and talent development roles with Fortune 100 companies, entrepreneurial experience as co-owner of Training Dynamics and as an independent consultant and coach.  

Prior to launching Vicky McGrath Consulting, Vicky was a member of the GE Crotonville Learning organization at General Electric where she helped lead cultural change initiatives focusing on Simplification and FastWorks (GE’s adoption of the Lean Start Up principles) and designed programs focused on developing the leadership talent pipeline. 

Vicky joined GE in 2006, as Learning Leader for Capital Solutions, moving to a role as Leadership and Organization Learning Leader for GE Capital, Americas & GE Treasury in 2009 and ultimately as Business Learning Leader for GE Appliances & Lighting. Vicky came to GE from American Express where she held roles as Talent Development Leader and Global Learning & Development Manager.  Her prior experience includes consulting roles with Lee Hecht Harrison and 10 years as co-founder and partner in Training Dynamics, an award-winning, NY-based training and development consulting practice.  Her consulting experience includes organizations in the pharmaceutical, financial services, not for profit, manufacturing, and educational fields. 

While Vicky’s style is inclusive and collaborative she also challenges participants to increase their self-awareness and build critical capabilities. Vicky creates a safe environment for learning—she encourages participants discover, explore, reflect and learn. As a coach, Vicky focuses on co-creating the coaching experience to assure the client’s needs are always front and center. Clients find her approach to be both positive, inspirational and challenging. Throughout both her corporate and consulting roles, Vicky’s blend of enthusiasm, humor and integrity has made her a valued and trusted partner.  

Vicky received a B.A. degree in social science from Michigan State University and completed graduate work in human resources at Milano, The New School for Management. She enjoys travel & sightseeing, museums, theater and her book club.
